My First Week in Wonderland: Traditions!

Thursday, May 22
I got to the bus to Traditions at 6:50 AM.... Sherry & I were the only ones who had Traditions in the morning, everyone else had it in the afternoon. I was exhausted. When we got to Disney University, we met up with Zach's housemate Alex but were soon split up into separate classrooms.
Before coming to Disney I had read about 23092834 blogs and basically knew every single surprise Traditions had in store for me, so I wasn't as thrilled with it as others were. For this reason, I will not be going into explicit detail about it as to not ruin it for future CPs.
We watched a lot of videos welcoming us to Disney World, and learning about Disney's Heritage and (you guessed it) Traditions. We watched a montage of videos of kids finding out they are going to Disney World and I cried. I also cried watching Walt Disney's speeches. I guess I'm in the right place, huh?
We took a short walk under and through Magic Kingdom. It was extremely hot, but fun to see what goes on behind the scenes. Afterwords we got our name-tags from a very special guest, and traditions was over. The whole thing was about 4 and a half hours, but like I said I don't want to go into too much detail.
After traditions I took an extremely long nap. Then I unpacked my whole room, which was an amazing feat. I felt so much better after that. While I was making dinner Ari texted and asked if we wanted to go to CiCi's now that we could use our IDs for a discount. I had never been to CiCi's Pizza... but let's just say as a New Yorker I was insanely disappointed...
Then I invited  all of my roommates over to Zach's apartment to play Cards Against Humanity with his roommates: Travis, Alex, Anthony and Levi (who came later). It was so fun and nice to have a group of people to hang out with.
